Disruptive maintenance notifications: Increasing the advanced notice

    To provide you with a better customer experience, the disruptive maintenance policy for IBM Cloud is changing. Currently, most disruptive maintenance is deployed with a minimum of one business day advance notice. However, it is our intent to now publish most disruptive maintenance notifications a minimum of three business days before the change is deployed. We reserve the right to publish urgent maintenance notifications with 24 hours notice.

    To ensure that you will not miss important disruptive maintenance notification posts due to notifications scrolling on the page, we encourage you to use our new IBM Cloud Status page experience. With this experience, notifications for completed maintenance move from the Planned Maintenance tab to the Status tab. Future disruptive maintenance notifications remain on the Planned Maintenance tab in ascending order.
